Laminaze

Horses and ponies on restricted grass intake require additional support to remain fit and healthy. Laminaze is a unique blend of over 40 ingredients combining with key gut support, bio-available sulphur and targeted nutrients, in a palatable formula to maintain hoof health and improve their diet and lifestyle. Prebiotics and live probiotics are included for their ability to a stable, healthy gut environment. Naturally sourced antioxidants are present to support the liver. Bio-available sulphur (MSM) is recommended for supporting healthy hoof growth and strong sulphur bonds within the laminae. Janice Bloxham & Fifi and Bob

"Fifi aged 23 was rescued 21 years. She was very thin and malnourished with a very bad worm and lice burden. We heard about some ponies needing to be re-homed and only intended to have one as we already had quite a few little ones, but I fell in love with Fifi, she is such a sweet pony, and we went back the next day to get her. That day we didn’t have the use of a horse box, so we walked Fifi home, which when driving didn’t seem that far, it took us quite a few hours to make it home, trekking through Epping Forest to avoid as much road as we could, at just 2 years old she was as good as gold on the roads.

Bob was rescued about 11years ago, he had been abused, unfortunately his rescuer wasn’t able to school him for a child’s pony which was her intention as the abuse he suffered has traumatised him too much. His severe mistrust of humans to so deep routed, so she brought him to us and for 3 years he lived in the field and would not allow us to get any closer than 200 metres. He has scarring on his face presumably from a head collar cutting into him. He now comes into his stable and will take treats from our hand, and even gives lovely kisses, but no touching is allowed. My lovely vet has been helping me with Monty Roberts join-up which seems to be helping and he actually enjoys it, he takes himself into the schooling area and even goes round and schools himself. With perseverance one day I hope to be able to touch him, it’s a slow process because of his traumatic past. Fortunately because they are kept as natural as possible and roam free his feet wear down naturally.

Fifi and Bob are both on restricted diets due to them being good doers and in Bobs case an extremely good doer, my vet suggested a supplement so I got Laminaze which they have been on for 4 months now and I have noticed a definite improvement in their coats and hooves, and also in their whole body shape and movements."

Gracie Billington & Smartie

"Laminaze has been such a good help for my pony with EMS. He had laminitis on and off and when it seemed like there was no hope for him, I tried this as a last resort. Within just 2 days I saw amazing improvements, thank you so much NAF."

Topsy and Turvey

Topsy, a 21 year old mare, and Turvey, a 16 year old gelding, both Shetland ponies. Both ponies were put on a trial of Laminaze, along with controlled strip grazing after their owner became concerned about metabolic issues. Says their owner "Since being fed Laminaze both ponies are now moving freely, trotting and cantering around the field like before. Even when the fields were covered in snow the ponies coped well, still walking actively through the snow, particularly when they see hay being provided! I am so pleased with your product and thank you for allowing me to trial it on my ponies."

Pepsi

Pepsi, a 14 year old 11.3hh Welsh Section A pony owned by Amanda Taylor and her daughter Abigail. Pepsi has given Abigail so much confidence, and they both love show jumping together. However, Amanda was worried that the lush spring grass might cause issues with Pepsi, so she restricted her grazing, changed her diet and increased her work with the support and advice from NAF. Says Amanda, "I started feeding Laminaze and Slimline. Within three weeks of feeding them, we noticed the difference in Pepsi's weight and her cresty neck has now vanished. Pepsi is back to her usual vibrant self and enjoying her turnout once again with no need for a muzzle or strip grazing. Thank you NAF."

Murphy Wilson

Murphy a 6 year old driving pony ridden by Layne Wilson. Layne spotted Laminaze in her local feed store and decided to give it a try. "The difference has been amazing, after a month on the Laminaze he was galloping around the field once again. Now he is even back under harness and under saddle with my daughter. We would never use anything else!"

Frosty

Frosty is a 13 year old skewbald Falabella x Shetland who I have had since he was a foal. Being the breed type he is, I feed him Laminaze everyday to maintain his health. The photo with the panniers was on one of our camping trips with Frosty. He carries the tent, cooking pans, his food, the dog food and his grooming kit. I carry my food, electric fence, 6 cut off plastic electric fence posts and anything else we need. He will walk 6 or 8 miles in a day, we go camping a couple of times a year and he whinnies loudly when I get out of my tent! He loves camping trips and walks in general (Eyam tea rooms are a favourite) jogging along happily on his own. Thank you for making Laminaze to help keep Frosty so healthy!

Bracken

(Wreybrook Bracken) aka Bracken owned by Sally Hoppins Before Sally firmly believes in the advantages of using Laminaze and had done a considerable amount of research before feeding it to Bracken. Sally wrote to us to let us know how grateful she was that we took the time to explain the improvements to the formula which she commented "It was absolutely excellent service." After Says Sally "I firmly believe that Laminaze has played a major part of Bracken's recovery and indeed her day to day maintenance. I keep her on it all year round and she is able to go out in the field with my other horses and lead a relatively normal life. The really brilliant news is that Bracken is now back in full time work, she has also returned to the show ring for the first time in two years and won her veteran class! What more can I say, thank you NAF and Laminaze!"
