Recover
Recover

To keep your horse working and competing soundly and comfortably throughout the season, it's imperative that they are able to quickly recover from any stresses of training, travelling and competition. Exercise induces changes within the system, and not all of them are beneficial. Some of these changes may be associated with oxidative stress from free radicals and an increase in inflammatory markers, both of which have been noted in working horses. Failure of the system to adequately remove these toxins can result in the horse becoming stale or sour, leading to lost training days and a poor or reduced performance.

By ensuring that the horse's competition diet is supported with targeted nutrients to challenge the concerns of oxidative stress at peak times, we can support the horse's own system in recovery from exercise and get them back to work quickly and efficiently.
